This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which PixaQuant (“we”, “us”, or “our”) offers refunds for digital products purchased through https://pixaquant.com, including software applications, WordPress themes, and plugins (each, a “Product”). By purchasing a Product, you agree to this Refund Policy, which forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Payments and the Merchant of Record
Purchases of our digital Products are processed by third-party payment service providers, which may act as merchants of record for these sales. When you make a purchase, your payment, invoicing, tax handling, and refund processing are carried out by the payment provider on our behalf. The license to use the Product itself is granted by PixaQuant. The payment provider’s own terms of sale and privacy policy also apply to your purchase and are made available during checkout or on the provider’s website.
2. Refund Window
We offer a refund for digital Products within 14 days of the date of purchase, provided the conditions in Section 3 are met. Where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you a longer or unconditional withdrawal right, that right prevails over this policy.
Please note that, under EU and comparable consumer law, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content may expire once delivery has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that the right is lost — where this applies, it is disclosed during the checkout process. Nothing in this policy limits the statutory rights you may have.
3. When You Can Request a Refund
We will issue a refund when a request is made within the refund window and one or more of the following applies:
- The Product does not perform substantially as described in our documentation, and we have been unable to resolve the issue.
- The Product is technically incompatible with the environment described in its requirements, and this was not disclosed before purchase.
- You were charged in error, or the same Product was purchased more than once accidentally.
- The Product has a critical defect that prevents reasonable use and that we cannot fix within a reasonable time.
4. When a Refund May Be Declined
To keep prices fair for all customers, we may decline a refund where:
- The refund request is made after the 14-day window, and no statutory right applies.
- The Product has been used extensively or commercially beyond reasonable evaluation of whether it meets your needs.
- The issue arises from modifications to the Product’s source code, use outside its documented requirements, conflicts with third-party software, or failure to follow the documented installation or configuration instructions.
- The Product was purchased with a clearly disclosed pre-release/beta status, where the nature of early-stage software was communicated before purchase.
5. Effect of a Refund on Your License
When a refund is issued, the license granted to you for the Product is automatically terminated. You must stop using the Product, delete all copies of the software and its documentation from your systems, and cease using any license keys or activation codes issued to you. License keys associated with refunded orders will be deactivated.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page within the refund window. Please include:
- Your order number or the email address used at checkout (order confirmations are issued by the payment provider).
- The name of the Product purchased.
- A brief description of the issue or reason for the request.
We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond, typically within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through the payment provider and returned to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
7. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Most issues can be resolved faster and more simply through direct support, and unjustified chargebacks may result in the deactivation of licenses associated with your account.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive where applicable. If you believe a statutory right applies to your purchase, contact us and we will handle your request accordingly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your purchase, unless a later version is required by law.
10. Contact
